I
decided to run for Governor when the Arizona Medical Board
determined that repeatedly drugging my son into a comatose
condition, known as obtundation, was an acceptable standard of
medical care and one of the hopes of my campaign is to bring
attention to the State’s dysfunctional “cycle of services” where
the State’s customers are routinely referred throughout the
system with no resolution to their problem.
My experience with the State is that the system finds ways to
tell its customers what it can not do instead of doing what it
can do. Through my repeated efforts
to protect my son, I came to conclude that the State was
similarly obtunded.
I am a fiscal conservative. I oppose wasting taxpayer's money.
I strongly
believe in personal liberty.
I believe that it is time for a real and substantial change that
reevaluates every department in the State and includes judicial
reform.
I believe that
the State needs to investigate more intelligent ways to reduce
medical costs. I oppose caps on medical malpractice awards
because they will punish the victims of medical negligence and
undermine the judicial process .
I support
equal rights for all minorities.
I believe that
the only way to effectively address illegal immigration is to
address the poverty and corruption in Mexico that causes its
population to flee. I support a temporary guest-worker plan.
I believe that
we need to evaluate the expense of the war on drugs and consider
other alternatives to drug problems.
